What You Get With a Reel48 Custom Koozie

Every koozie we make is cut from neoprene — the stretchy, wetsuit-style fabric — rather than the thin collapsible foam that most giveaway koozies are made of. Neoprene insulates better, holds its shape through coolers and tailgates, and holds saturated full-color printing. It is the difference between a favor that goes home and a favor that gets left on the table.

The print is full color, and full color is the only option — there is no per-color pricing to decode and no art, plate, or proof fees. A photograph, a gradient, a four-color logo and a single line of white text all cost the same per unit. The die folds at the base disc into a front panel and a back panel, and artwork can go on either, so a company can put its logo on one side and its phone number or website on the other.

Most custom koozie companies make you upload artwork, wait for a sales rep, and approve an emailed proof days later. At Reel48 the online designer shows your logo, text, and colors on the koozie exactly as we will print it, in real time. You approve your own design the moment it looks right, and production starts as soon as you check out.

Koozie, coozie, cozy, can cooler, huggie — they are all the same product, and "personalized koozies" (names, dates, monograms) are made the same way at the same prices as "custom koozies" (logos and brand artwork). How Much Do Custom Koozies Cost?

Custom koozies from Reel48 cost $2.94 each at 100 units and $0.84 each at 10,000 units for a standard can, with a slim can $0.05 more at every break. This is our real price list — the same tiers the designer prices off — for full-color printing on neoprene, no magnet.

Prices are per koozie. Quantities between breaks price at the lower break, so 250 koozies and one more both pay the 250-unit rate. Shipping is a flat $0.05 per unit anywhere in the United States, shown separately at checkout rather than folded into the unit price, so the ladder above is comparable with any quote you have in hand.

A worked example: a 250-guest wedding orders 250 standard koozies at $2.24 — $560.00 for the koozies plus $12.50 shipping, $572.50 all in. Rounding up to the next break often costs little and leaves spares, which go faster than anyone expects.

A bottle-opener magnet is an add-on: about $1.00 per unit at 100 units and about $1.70 per unit at 10,000 — the add-on grows with volume as the koozie itself gets cheaper. The minimum order is 100 units, and the full ladder with magnet pricing is shown live in the koozie designer.

Cheap Custom Koozies vs. Cheap-Looking Ones

If you are searching for cheap custom koozies, here is the honest version. Ours drop under a dollar at 5,000 units ($0.94 each) and bottom out at $0.84 at 10,000. The way we get there is volume and a simple product line — neoprene, full-color print, two dies — not a thinner koozie.

There are also no fees around the unit price: no art fee, no plate fee, no proof fee. Artwork costs nothing extra — you place your design in the online designer and the live preview is the proof. Full color is the only option, so there is no per-color pricing to decode. The number in the table is the number at checkout, plus $0.05 per unit to ship it.

The cheap-looking koozie is a different product: collapsible foam. Foam creases, fades, and tears at the seams — which is why it reads as disposable and gets treated that way. When you compare quotes, compare the whole number. Many suppliers quote a low unit price, then add art fees, plate or screen charges, proof fees, and shipping at checkout. What You Can Customize

Customizable koozies means more than a logo dropped on a blank. Everything below is set in the designer and shown in the live preview before you order.

• Koozie color. Start from 6 preset colors or type any hex value to match a brand guide or a wedding palette. The live preview shows the koozie in that color exactly as we will make it.
• Standard or slim die. Pick the standard can for a regular 12 oz can or the slim can for a 12 oz slim (sleek) can — seltzers, energy drinks. The print area changes with the die and the preview updates with it — see the sizes below.
• Full-color artwork, photos included. Upload up to 5 images per design as PNG, JPEG, SVG files of up to 12 MB each. Vector files (SVG) stay crisp at any size; a high-resolution photo prints as a photo. Fine detail softens slightly on neoprene fabric, so a bold, tightly cropped image beats a busy full-scene shot.
• Text. Add names, a date, a hashtag, a tagline or a phone number in any of 7 built-in fonts, or upload up to 3 of your own font files so the koozie matches your invitation or your brand typeface.
• Front and back panels. The die folds at the base disc into a front and a back panel, and the designer lets you place artwork on either — the couple's names on the front and the wedding date on the back, or a brewery's logo on one side and its tasting-room address on the other. Artwork on the back panel prints upside down unless it is rotated about 180° first, which the designer shows you.
• Bottle-opener magnet. An optional bottle-opener magnet, chosen in the designer as an add-on — about $1.00 more per unit at 100 units.

Sizes: Standard vs. Slim Can Koozies

We make 2 dies. The dimensions below are the print panel and the base disc as cut — the same geometry the designer traces on screen, so what fits the preview fits the koozie.

The standard can is the classic beer and soda can shape, and because neoprene stretches it fits most same-size bottles too. The slim can is taller and narrower for the sleek cans that seltzers, energy drinks and canned cocktails come in. A slim can in a standard koozie leaves an air gap and slides off when the drink is picked up, so it neither insulates nor stays put — which is why the two are separate products rather than one compromise.

Ordering for a mixed cooler? Split the order between the two dies — each die is its own product with its own ladder, and the slim die is $0.05 more per unit. If you need something else for a specific event or product, contact us about options before you order.

How Ordering Works

After checkout you get an order confirmation that links to the design you approved, so the proof on record is the one you saw on screen, and tracking is sent to the same email once the order ships. Most orders are produced and delivered within 2–4 weeks; if you are working to a date, rush production in 1–2 weeks may be available for an additional fee — contact us with your date and quantity.
