# Shipping & production

> Every Reel48 order is custom-manufactured. This is what to expect from order to delivery.

## Timelines

| Stage | Timeline | Detail |

| Can cooler production | 3–4 weeks | Production starts as soon as you place your order. The design you confirm in the designer is your proof. Timeline varies by order size. |
| Custom hats | 7–9 weeks after sample confirmation | A free digital mockup within 24 hours of your artwork, then a sample; the run ships once the sample is confirmed. |
| Express production | 2–3 weeks | Any can cooler order can add express production at checkout ($30 for 100–199 pieces, $40 for 200–399, $50 for 400–749, and $60 for 750 or more) and be made in 2–3 weeks instead of 3–4 weeks. On a hat deadline, tell us before you order. |
| Shipping transit | 3–7 business days | Domestic transit after production, depending on location. |

## The process

1. **Order placed.** You place your order online. We confirm details and begin the design phase.
2. **Design & proof.** A digital mockup goes out for approval; can coolers ordered in the designer are proofed by the live preview.
3. **Production.** Approved artwork enters production, with updates at key milestones.
4. **Quality check.** Every order is inspected before it ships.
5. **Shipping.** Packaged and shipped by a reliable carrier, with tracking information.

## Shipping details

- **Can cooler shipping:** flat $0.05 per unit, added at checkout.
- **Express shipping:** optional on any hat order. Add it at checkout for a flat $30.00 and your hats go out by an expedited carrier once they are made. Production time is unchanged.
- **Express production:** optional on any can cooler order ($30 for 100–199 pieces, $40 for 200–399, $50 for 400–749, and $60 for 750 or more), added at checkout to be made in 2–3 weeks instead of 3–4 weeks.
- **Domestic:** all 50 US states. Shipping is a flat per-unit rate, shown in the cart and charged at checkout.
- **International:** case by case. [Contact us](https://www.reel48.com/contact) for a shipping estimate. Duties and taxes may apply.
- **Tracking:** production status, then tracking once it ships, in the customer portal at [account.reel48.com](https://account.reel48.com). Sign in with the email address you ordered with; if no sign-in email arrives, email hello@reel48.com and we'll set up your access.
- **Damage in transit:** contact us within 48 hours with photos. See the [return policy](https://www.reel48.com/return-policy).
- **Ships from:** Austin, TX.
